The Community College as Entrepreneurial Catalyst

I was recently asked by the journal Perspectives: Community College Leadership for the 21st Century to draft a paper focusing on community college entrepreneurship.  The editors were impressed with the many impacts MCC has on its students and community and felt that our story needed to be shared among a broader audience, including college and university leaders. The resulting document entitled “The Community College as Entrepreneurial Catalyst” examines the changing role in community colleges, the modern community college movement, entrepreneurism in the classroom and community, and a case study of Muskegon Community College as an entrepreneurial catalyst   I hope that you find the paper useful and that it reflects well on how community colleges impact communities in a positive way. Here is a link to the paper.
